澳洲交流團第五天

菲利普島：樹熊保育中心(Koala Conservation Reserve)>欣賞神仙企鵝歸巢

今次我們就讓6A班胡禕梦同學為大家介紹一下吧！

今天是澳洲交流團的第五天。

我們先吃過午餐，這家店的店員格外親切，而且我還發現了一根我從沒在任何一家餐廳中見過的棍子。它的兩端各有著紅色和白色的顏料，把紅色的那邊向上擺放，店員就會知道你需要他們的服務。反之，白色向上就代表不需要服務。另外，店員還給我一個汽水瓶蓋，它是用來投票的，沒錯，它是用來投票給你支持的慈善機構。晚飯之後，我們便可以把它放進投票箱中，而餐廳則會捐出500澳元給獲得票數最多的慈善機構。

之後，我們去到一座小島----菲利普島（Phillip Island) 上進行活動。

首先，我們來到了今天的第一站----樹熊保育中心。樹熊保育中心 (Koala Conservation Centre) 致力於保護樹熊的可持續生態及生活環境，遊客可以一邊漫步在澳大利亞樹林中，一邊在樹熊的自然棲息地中觀賞野生樹賞。在這裡，我們可以更近距離地觀察樹熊。到達之後，我們跟著導遊走入園內的步道，以便觀察樹熊。這次是我有史以來第一次看到沒有在睡覺的樹熊。雖然睡著的樹熊也很可愛，可醒著的樹熊更令我看得流連忘返。特別是牠們坐在樹上，努力地伸手去抓樹枝的樣子，可愛極了！

黃昏後，我們來到了我在整個澳洲交流中最期待的行程，也是菲利普島上的一大特色----觀看「企鵝歸巢」，而我們能看到的是神仙企鵝。（又名小企鵝、藍企鵝、小鰭腳企鵝，是企鵝家族中體型最小的物種，有別於其他常見企鵝，它們有一身藍色的羽毛，因此被稱作小藍企鵝。）我們坐在岸邊的凳上，等待神仙企鵝回巢。不過這一次，我們並沒有看到上百隻的企鵝成群結隊地回巢，但我們依然看到了幾隻神仙企鵝，它們在浪中一遍一遍的嘗試，最後也終於成功上岸。而且，菲利普島的環境很好，夜晚的天上可以看到清晰的星河，浩瀚深邃。

今天的行程，可以說是這七天中最特別，也是最令人期待的一天。而親身經歷過後，也的確令人回味無窮。可愛的樹熊、企鵝和清晰的星河，我可能一生都不會忘卻。同時也令我更加期待明天的行程----看澳洲最著名的彩虹小屋。希望明天依舊和今天一樣風和日麗。

 

Australia Exchange Tour: Day 5

Let 6A Diesel share his day.

Today is the fifth day in Melbourne.  

We went to a fast-food restaurant called Grill’d. We ate a delicious. It was very healthy because it had some fresh vegetables, and it was a natural hamburger. The meat was very juicy. 

First, we went to the Koala Conservation Reserve. We could see the koalas very closely. The tour guide said koalas sleep 18 to 22 hours a day, so it is difficult to see them eating.  

We were very lucky as we could see the koalas were eating.  

In the evening, we had dinner in a Chinese food. I hadn’t had Chinese food for a week! Although the dishes were not too special, I still felt satisfied because they tasted like my mom’s cooking.  

Lastly, we watched the little go back home. We needed to be patient while waiting for the penguins to come. We had already waited for 40 minutes, but they hadn’t come yet. When we were about to give up, suddenly we saw some small “white-and-black balls” moving. The staff told us those were the little penguins, and we felt very surprised.  

When we left, I saw a lot of stars. They were so beautiful. In Hong Kong, we can’t see the stars clearly, so it was a wonderful place.  

Today was a nice day because after many days of rain, it was sunny. Today we learned about the koalas’ habits and genders. What a wonderful day for me.
