Curriculum

Target
  1. To enhance students’ basic competency in English.
  2. To enhance students’ four English language skills – listening, speaking, reading and writing.
  3. To help to develop students’ generic skills – collaboration, communication, creativity, critical thinking, problem solving, numeracy, self management, informative technology and study skills.

PLP-R/W (Primary Literacy Programme – Reading and Writing)

An integrated P.1 and P.2 English programme in which students learn to read and write through chanting, singing and making things.

Reading Workshops

Reading workshops for P.3 and P.4 will be developed with Language Support Officer of the Language Learning Support Services from the EDB.

Cross curriculum development with Chinese Language

Writing tasks will be developed by both English and Chinese teachers to assist writing skills.

Reading Mum (EDB)

With the help of EDB, we will have a group of Reading Mums this year again to read stories to our P.2 students every other week.
